Ultrasound
Ultrasound imaging
Ultrasounds are non-invasive medical imaging methods that enable clinicians to analyze soft tissues in the body. The scans use high-frequency sound waves to generate images of the inside of the body and project them onto a computer screen.
The tests are quick and effective, enabling clinicians to scan the body’s organs, blood vessels, breasts, lymph nodes, muscles, and renal (kidney) arteries.
